What is the PGDSD program?
• The PGDSD program is a 12-month, full-time, face-to-face training program in software development.
• The August 2010 batch is the third batch of the program.
• The program is currently offered in the Bangalore campus of IIIT-B.
• On completion of the program, students get a “Post Graduate Diploma in Software Development” from IIIT-Bangalore.
Who should join this PGDSD program?
• The PGDSD program has been designed for students that have completed their college degree and are looking to join the IT industry as a software developer.
• Applicants need to have a B.E. / M.C.A. / M.Sc. / B.Sc. Comp.Sc. / B.C.A. degree to join the program.

• No, we do not guarantee a job. We provide all the required training, but at the end of the day, it is the student’s responsibility to use what we provide and acquire the necessary competencies to qualify for a job. We will do everything we can to help you along the way.
When does the program start?
• The next batch starts in August 2010.
• Admission for this batch will start on 29th March, 2010.
What is the duration of the program?
• The duration of the PGDSD program is twelve (12) months, divided over four (4) quarters.
• Students enrolled in the program are expected to spend 40-50 hours per week on various learning activities associated with the program.
• In order to enroll in the program, you need to first fill up an Online Application (click on Apply Now on the top right of this page to do so).
• Admission to the program is conducted in three rounds.
• Last date for applying to Round-1: 30th April, 2010.
• Last date for applying to Round-2: 28th May, 2010.
• Last date for applying to Round-3: 25th June 2010.
• If your application gets shortlisted for an offer, you will receive your offer within 3 days from the end of each round.
• Once you receive the Offer letter, you need to submit a signed copy of the Offer Acceptance letter, Terms & Conditions document and a Demand Draft for the tuition fee. Last date for joining the August 2010 batch is 23rd July 2010.
• Once we receive your Acceptance letter, we will notify you by email and send you instructions on registration process and schedule of classes.
